Foreigner killed in a mob justice attack

The boss of the police in Limpopo, Major General Jan Scheepers, strongly disapproves of the killing of two unidentified men in attacks where people took the law into their own hands with mob justice.

One incident happened at Ivy Park in Capricorn District, and the other at Seokodibeng village in Sekhukhune District.

In the first case, on Monday, January 15, 2024, the police in Westernburg got a call about an African man found injured and lying in the street at Ivypark, Polokwane. Sadly, upon arrival emergency responders confirmed that the man had died.
