Drunk security guard rams into house before running away

A security guard driving a marked vehicle allegedly fled the scene after crashing into a residential property in Protea Heights.

The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, has raised concerns about the conduct and responsibility of security personnel on duty.

C-Max Security, the company associated with the vehicle involved in the accident, was quick to respond to the situation. However, their efforts were hampered by the absence of the driver at the scene.

The silver VW Polo, bearing the branding of Kummandi Securitas, was discovered with a case of beer on the back seat, fueling suspicions that the driver may have been under the influence at the time of the crash.

Describing the chaotic scene, C-Max Security’s Facebook post detailed, “The reaction officers found the owner of the property outside next to a vehicle that crashed into the wall of his home. The client thereof claimed the suspect had fled the scene on foot.”

This account paints a picture of confusion and disbelief as the homeowner grappled with the aftermath of the unexpected intrusion into their property.
