Bianca de Jager eyes national championship
Zululand bodybuilder Bianca de Jager has achieved a remarkable feat by clinching the 1st place title in the KZN Miss Figure division in 2023, marking her first major victory in the competitive world of bodybuilding.
As a member of the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IBFF), de Jager is now setting her sights on the national competition in Johannesburg on 24 June.
Despite her undeniable talent and potential for success, de Jager is faced with a financial hurdle in her journey to the national stage.
With no KZN shows scheduled for this year, she is left with only the national competition as her next opportunity to showcase her skills.
This lack of local events has significantly increased the costs associated with competing, particularly due to expenses related to travel and accommodation.
Expressing her determination to represent Zululand on a national platform, de Jager humbly appeals for support from the community to help fund her participation in the upcoming competition.
She acknowledges the challenges ahead but remains optimistic about the possibility of realizing her dreams with the assistance of kind-hearted individuals.
In a statement, de Jager shared, “Unfortunately, there are no KZN shows this year, leaving only the national show. This makes the costs of competing much higher than usual because of traveling and accommodation.”
She further expressed her gratitude for any form of support that can aid her in achieving her aspirations and making her mark in the competitive bodybuilding scene.
