You creep! Unathi explodes after a man trolled her for wearing a br@ at a gym
Media personality, Unathi, recently found herself in the crosshairs of a judgmental man on social media who criticized her choice of gym attire.
The man’s comment, which Unathi shared in a screenshot on her timeline, condemned her for wearing a bra top and urged her to cover up for the sake of her children and man.
The former Idols judge shared a screenshot of the man’s comment which reads, “There is a lack of decency here. Girls if you have kids cover up. Don’t want to wear bras then at least the stickers.Your kids won’t appreciate this. Your man won’t appreciate this ether in the gym. Keep braless life to home.”
Unathi, however, did not take the criticism lying down.
In a fiery response, she called out the man for his lack of respect and understanding. She emphasized the difference between girls and women, asserting that women, like herself, have the right to dress as they please without judgment.
Unathi also pointed out that her children actually love her gym outfit and find inspiration in her confidence and style.
“GIRLS do NOT have children WOMEN do so address them with RESPECT. Secondly my kids LOVE this and my daughter wants us to match at gym. WHY becuase I inspire them. My daughter plays netball and my son hockey like I did for SA. Lastly WHEN are you SICK men going to admit that you are sick. I’m at gym WTF do you expect me to where. PS. My MAN LOVES THIS and tells me to keep posting. IDIOT.”
In a powerful final statement, Unathi addressed the broader issue of toxic masculinity, challenging men to acknowledge and confront their own insecurities and prejudices.
She made it clear that she will not be shamed into conforming to outdated and harmful societal norms.
