In other news, Mamelodi Sundowns are open to the prospect of losing TWO attackers in the upcoming January transfer window.
According to recent reports, Gift Motupa and Lesedi Kapinga will be allowed to leave the club if a suitable offer arrives.
The duo have battled for playing time and are believed to exceed Rhulani Mokwena’s demands.
Kapinga last played for the Brazilians in August 2022. He made just three substitutions, playing a total of 31 minutes on the pitch.
Motupa, on the other hand, has only played two games for his team this season, scoring two goals. According to reports, Mamelodi Sundowns are open to losing both Kapinga and Motupa in the upcoming transfer window.
While the two may not leave the club permanently, a loan deal that brings them more playing time could benefit both them and the Brazilians in the long run.
“Mamelodi Sundowns, meanwhile, are set to look at what the future holds for the likes of Gift Motupa and Lesedi Kapinga.” a SoccerLaduma report read.
“A decision will be made on the players in the coming months with the club open to letting them leave to get game-time elsewhere.”
