Another Engen Garage Murder| Petrol Attended shot and killed at work
A sad incident occurred at the Engen Garage in Chiawelo 3, Soweto on Saturday, January 27. A petrol attendant lost his life in a cold-blooded shooting. The Moroka South African Police Service (SAPS) in Soweto have since registered a murder case.
Police received a murder complaint and rushed to the scene at Engen garage, located at the corner of Manotshe and Tshithuthuni streets in Chiawelo 3. Upon investigation, it was revealed that three unidentified men approached the garage and targeted the victim.

Petrol attendant killed at Engen garage
The man was simply doing his job, filling petrol into a vehicle, when the three suspects, armed with guns, shot him in the back. Shockingly, after the brutal act, the suspects walked away without taking anything from him.
The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his back, and eight cartridges and one bullet was found at the crime scene. The motive behind the shooting is currently unknown.
Police spokesperson Anthony Kholo stated that all necessary personnel, including paramedics, were called to the crime scene. Tragically, despite their efforts, the petrol attendant was declared deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to uncover the motive behind this senseless act of violence.
