Kaizer Chiefs management to engage with former Real Madrid manager – Report

Kaizer Chiefs is reportedly exploring the possibility of appointing experienced former Real Madrid coach Jose Peseiro to take over the club’s head coaching role.

The decision to consider Peseiro comes as Amakhosi prioritize hiring a top-level coach with a strong track record of success and a personality that aligns with the club’s esteemed brand.

The search for a new coach at Kaizer Chiefs has been narrowed down to a select few candidates who meet the club’s stringent criteria. Names such as Pitso Mosimane, Benni McCarthy, Alexandre Gallo, Nasreddine Nabi, and Manqoba Mngqithi have been linked to the position, which is currently being temporarily held by Cavin Johnson.

Jose Peseiro, the former head coach of the Nigerian national team, has emerged as a potential candidate for the coaching role at Kaizer Chiefs.

The 57-year-old Portuguese coach recently became available after guiding Nigeria’s Super Eagles to a second-place finish at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
