Court orders broke Musa Khawula to pay damages to Nozuko Mbalula and Michelle Perrow
Nozuko Mbalula, the wife of ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula, and her business partner Michelle Perrow have secured an interdict against social media blogger Musa Khawula.
The court issued this order in response to Khawula’s allegations on the social media platform X, where he accused Mbalula and Perrow of bribing officials to obtain government tenders valued at R150 million between 2013 and 2019.
According to court documents shared by Fikile Mbalula on X, Khawula is required to pay damages to Mbalula and Perrow, cover the legal costs of the application, and remove the defamatory statements from his X feed within 48 hours of the order being granted.
Furthermore, Khawula is barred from giving interviews or posting on any social media platforms, including X, any claims that suggest Mbalula and Perrow are involved in fraud and corruption.
