“You can’t fire me in my country” – Truck driver drives his truck straight into his Chinese boss’s wife after being fired

A shocking incident unfolded at Union Town Holdings in Broadhurst Industrial site, as a 29-year-old truck driver allegedly drove his truck into his boss’s wife after being handed a dismissal letter.

The sequence of events that led to this violent act has left the community reeling with disbelief.

Eyewitnesses at the scene recounted how the disgruntled truck driver was served with a dismissal letter by his supervisor.

In a fit of rage, instead of processing the news in a rational manner, he reportedly climbed into the truck and intentionally drove it into the boss’s wife, who was not involved in the conversation.

The unexpected and callous nature of the attack left those present in shock, prompting them to alert the authorities.

Broadhurst Police Acting Station Commander, Assistant Superintendent Mpho Chanowa, confirmed the incident and assured that investigations are underway to unravel the circumstances surrounding the disturbing event.

The victim, identified as a Chinese woman, was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment and was discharged on the same day.

Currently, she is in recovery at home, while law enforcement continues to piece together the details of the case.

As the investigation progresses, questions linger about any potential history of abuse or grievances between the employee and his employers.

The motive behind such a drastic and violent response remains unclear, underscoring the importance of thorough scrutiny by the authorities.

The community awaits further updates on whether the suspect has been apprehended and what justice will be served in this distressing incident.
