Woman found brutally raped and stabbed
A woman who is estimated be in her 30s was raped and stabbed to death along the R21 Atlas Road near Kempton Park According to Yusuf Abramjee this incident happened over the weekend
It has been reported that her clothes were found near the freeway. The woman has not been identified as yet.

One of the clothing items which have been found is a pair of black leggings that have obviously been shredded viciously.
According to the appearance of the crime scene, the victim’s black legging was torn in order to gain access to her body and strip her naked. The blood-stained legging has been cut around the private area and in both legs.
According to the most recent police figures, crimes have generally increased across all major categories.
In South Africa, there were over 7,000 murders between July 1 and September 2022.
Details of the crime data from the second quarter of the fiscal year 2022–2023 were presented to the parliamentary portfolio committee on police.
The murder rate is up significantly when compared to the 6,163 murders in the same period last year.
