The reason Dj Sumbody was killed
The late Oupa John Sefako, popularly known as DJ Sumbody, will be buried at Apel Fourways Cross in Ga-Masemola, Limpopo on Saturday.
DJ Sumbody, who was killed in a hail of bullets in Woodmead, Johannesburg while on his way to a gig early on Sunday, has been remembered during a memorial service that is currently underway in Centurion.
The Motive for the killing of Dj Sumbody
Since South Africa learned of the sudden death of the well-known music producer and businessman speculations are going on about the motive surrounding his death
Allegedly Dj Sumbody has been a wanted man since 2018. His death would have been somewhat avoided had he stopped posting and bragging about his money. It is alleged that was involved with gangs and drug lords.
According to allegations, he had some debt with other drug lords who are also music producers.
It is said that four Zulu guys were sent by a white man, who used to feature in Dj Sumbody’s songs and was also known as his best friend, to assassinate him. It is further alleged that this man wanted shares in Ayepyep, which is owned by Dj Sumbody and he refused to sell the shares.
It is also alleged that Dj Sumbody knew that he was going to die and tried to dodge a van in which his assassins were but it was too fast. 30 shots were allegedly fired and 21 hit him.
