Orlando Pirates set to sign Burnley striker in major transfer coup
Orlando Pirates appear to have found a hidden gem in former Burnley youth academy striker Tremaine Eastmond.
Following reports of his impressive performances during training, sources suggest the Buccaneers are keen on securing his signature ahead of the next season.
Eastmond, a skillful winger known for his trickery and crossing ability, has reportedly caught the eye of Pirates’ coaching staff during his assessment period.
An anonymous source, speaking to KickOff.com, revealed, “He’s (Eastmond) a sort of a tricky, skillful winger, crossing the ball, good first touch, nice player.”
Despite his slight frame, Eastmond’s technical prowess and finishing abilities have left a lasting impression.
“In the small-sided games he impressed me, I didn’t have to see him in a full game. It’s hard to tell obviously how that translates into football games, but from what I saw in the finishing drills and small-sided games, he looks good hey,” the source added.
