“I made people proud just like I do in the MDC, I was able to make them proud at a higher level,”  Vilakazi shared after the match.

Reflecting on Riveiro’s advice, he added, “The coach told me to not be scared when I have the ball, to keep it and do my thing, pass and not be scared and just play like how I do in the MDC.”

“I was so happy when I scored, and it helped me settle in the game, but that’s what I do, it’s small waters,” he remarked.
