Kaizer Chiefs transfer targets revealed

Kaizer Chiefs are facing a pivotal period as they seek to rejuvenate the club both on and off the field, with management actively pursuing a new head coach and quality players to bolster the squad.

Amidst the search for a permanent head coach following Molefi Ntseki’s departure, current interim coach Cavin Johnson has been tasked with leading the team, transitioning from his previous role as head of the academy.

An insider within the Amakhosi camp shed light on the club’s current challenges, revealing that management is not only focused on securing a new coach but also on strengthening the squad with top-quality players.

Disappointment with the current team’s performance has been palpable, with concerns raised by club legends and former players regarding the commitment and understanding of the players to the Chiefs brand.

Following a recent setback in the Nedbank Cup against Milford United, a Motsepe Foundation Championship side, tensions have escalated within the club.

“The mood is not good… management is very disappointed with what has been happening,” the source disclosed.

“Former players have expressed concerns about the players’ dedication to the club and their grasp of the Chiefs brand.”

Scouts have been diligently scouting for talented players to bolster the squad, emphasizing the club’s commitment to revitalizing its roster with top-tier talent.

“Scouts are already hard at work trying to bring quality players who will do the job for the club. I think they are nearing the end of the search for a new coach, and now the big job will be getting top players,” the source added, underscoring the importance of recruitment in the club’s turnaround strategy.
