This is a classic example of why they say crime does not pay. The suspected thief has paid with his life and the alleged murderers will serve time in prison as payment for their crimes. It is never a good idea to engage in criminal activity, and it is a much worse idea to take the law into your own hands because this quickly turns you from a law-abiding citizen to a murderer. Whenever a person is caught red-handed in a criminal act, it is always advisable to hand that person over to the police.
