Drama as 2 men claim baby. Babys mum remains tight lipped as she collects child support from both men

Busang Mmile, a 43-year-old man from the UK, found himself embroiled in a tumultuous saga that began six years ago when a casual encounter with Neo George Legopelo in Gaborone led to an unexpected pregnancy.

As the twists and turns of fate unfolded, Mmile discovered the startling truth that he was not the only purported father in the picture.

The revelation that Legopelo had maintained a dual facade, receiving child support from both Mmile and her local boyfriend, identified only as ‘Babedi,’ cast a shadow of doubt and confusion over the paternity of the child.

“I was also under pressure because my parents wanted to inform my baby daddy’s parents about my pregnancy. I ended up saying the baby belonged to Babedi because Mmile was married at the time and he went quiet after I told him I might be pregnant,” said Legopelo.

Mmile’s attempts to unravel the tangled truth and establish his paternal rights were met with resistance and obfuscation, as Legopelo blocked communication and evaded accountability for her actions.

The revelation that she was uncertain of the child’s true father, coupled with a history of unprotected encounters with both men, added layers of complexity to an already convoluted situation.

“At first, I was shocked because I was married then but we agreed that I would continue taking care of the baby. I relocated to the UK, but we were still in touch. Last year, out of the blue, I received a phone call from a certain gentleman called Babedi, claiming that he was the father of Legopelo’s child. I confronted Neo and she admitted that she was not sure who the real father was. That messed our plans to have Neo and the child relocate to the UK to join me since I am now divorced,” said Mmile.

In a bid to confront the looming uncertainty and resolve the paternity dispute, Mmile has taken the bold step of planning a trip to Botswana for a DNA test, determined to uncover the truth and secure his place in his son’s life.

However, the emotional turmoil and conflicting narratives from all parties involved have muddied the waters, leaving a trail of unanswered questions and shattered trust in their wake.

Legopelo’s admission of confusion and regret over the events that transpired, fueled by intoxication and emotional pressures, underscores the gravity of the situation and the profound impact of her choices on those entangled in the intricate drama.
