Community attacks man who was seen pushing his dead mother in a wheelbarrow

A 42-year-old man in Sekgosese, Limpopo, has been arrested for the alleged murder of his own mother.

The gruesome incident unfolded in Mamaila village on a fateful Tuesday morning, leaving the community reeling in disbelief.

According to Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba, the provincial police spokesperson, the suspect’s neighbors were alerted by the sound of shouting and insults directed at the victim.

The situation escalated when the man called on one of the community members to witness something disturbing he was transporting in a wheelbarrow.

To their horror, they discovered the lifeless body of the suspect’s mother in a steel bath.

The swift response of the community members cannot be understated, as they immediately confronted and attacked the alleged killer.

The gravity of the situation prompted them to take matters into their own hands before alerting the authorities.

The police were promptly informed and rushed to the scene to apprehend the suspect.
