Chiefs might have new faces this weekend

Kaizer Chiefs prepares to take on AmaZulu in the DStv Premiership this weekend. Coach Arthur Zwane could have two new faces available for selection.

Edmilson Dove and Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana were signed by Amakhosi as free agents in August. The team has been awaiting the issuance of their work permits.

Chiefs new selection

The Siya team has been notified that the club may actually be in possession of the players. As it is thought that everything has been worked out.

The lack of firepower up front has alarmed Chiefs supporters. Therefore Zwane will benefit greatly from having Bimenyimana as a backup option. Zwane recently welcomed back Ashley du Preez from injury.

Dove would be a huge asset at the back for a defense that has struggled since the season’s beginning. Amakhosi have conceded seven goals in five Premiership games, but it seems they will be able to use Dove’s services to strengthen the backline going forward.

Yusuf Maart, a midfielder for the Chiefs, will also be available for the encounter against Usuthu after serving a two-match suspension for receiving a red card against Richards Bay in the Premiership.

On Saturday, Amakhosi and Usuthu will face off at FNB Stadium (17h30).
