Baxter scores himself a job

Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter has landed himself a new job after being announced as Technical Adviso for Helsingborgs IF. This is according to iDiskiTimes.

Baxter, 69, left Chiefs towards the end of last season and has been without a job since.

Baxter marked his return to Chiefs in June 2021, before parting ways with the club in April 2022 towards the end of a difficult season in which they were assured to sign off empty-handed.

The ex-coach was always at loggerheads with Chiefs sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jnr. They had clashes over fielding younger players and the transfer policy at the club.

He had been linked with a few vacancies such as the Simba job, while the Zambian Football Association were also after him.
