Amakhosi set to bring more young players

Amakhosi have had a hit-and-miss season, with the club’s veteran players falling short
When the DStv Premiership resumes, Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane will reportedly use more of his young players as the Amakhosi coach seeks to end the season stronger.

The Chiefs coach has chosen to take a chance on inexperienced teenagers because he thinks they can deliver for the team as it seeks a turnaround and a successful season.

“It is about time Zwane started playing these young boys, the likes of Mduduzi Shabalala, Sabelo Radebe and Happy Mashiane should be used more often. These are the players that can deliver for the team and he (Zwane) knows because these boys are very hungry,” the source stated.

“Only Mshini (Nkosingiphile Ngcobo) has played aseveralgames, but the rest of the youth has been sidelined. That was all because he was trying to be careful with the team and trusted the experienced guys to do the job. But they have not been doing much for the team, hence Zwane is now on a new plan and wants to give these young boys a chance.”

The Amakhosi coach, Arthur Zwane, needs to maintain a healthy mix between the young and experienced players. Young talent adds new talents and the drive to succeed, while seasoned players can lead the younger players on the field.
