See reason this Coca Cola bottle caused a stir

People today need to be cautious about what they eat, especially when buying from stores owned by foreign nationals popularly known as ‘my friend’. Foreign nationals are notorious for producing knockoffs of well-known brands such as Coca-Cola.

This is what happened to a guy who bought 1, 25 liters of coca-cola from a foreign national-owned shop. People want to make sure they stay dehydrated through the heat wave by consuming a lot of liquids. This helps prevent death caused by heatstroke.

When @slimfit purchased a 1.25-liter bottle of Coca-Cola, he was hoping to beat the heat but instead, he got an alarming surprise s the bottle of the carbonated drink was filled to the brim. He was confused by the amount of cool drink that was in the bottle. He took to social media to seek answers.

This however came as no surprise to the majority of South Africans as such is expected from my friend shops because they are constantly accused of selling fake products.

One person responded and said these are overfills, during production as soon as the bottles leave the filler, there is an FBI(full bottle inspection unit) if it fails somehow to pick up this overfill, it does not get rejected and isolated, or if we have sighters and they fail to pick it up, it ends up sold.

However, in reality, soft drinks are just flavoured carbonated water. Consequently, the pressure inside the bottle is greater than the pressure outside. When shaken erratically, the pressurised carbon dioxide may cause the bottle to break if it is filled to the top. Bottles are not filled to the top to lower the possibility of the bottle breaking.

According to reports The most vulnerable people in the world are threatened by food counterfeits, and it is believed that an increasing number of South Africans are consuming food and drink that are harmful to their health.

Businesses in South Africa have been charged for selling fake meat, bread, and cold drinks, particularly in townships and rural areas.
Many disadvantaged people are forced to buy and consume these products since they are frequently inexpensive and in high demand.

However, the majority of these people are not aware of how eating these foods may affect their soundness.

Given the potential health risks, it’s a good thing @slimfit realised it wasn’t typical for a coca cola to be filled to the brim and asked for help.
