Mother kills her four kids with sledgehammer

Following the deaths of four children this morning at Mhlabubomvu Locality in Engcobo, the South African Police Service (SAPS) Detectives are looking into possible murder cases. They were allegedly killed by their mother.

The 32-year-old woman and her four children, who ranged in age from 2 to 11, were sleeping in their home in the village, according to the report, when in the morning, four dead children’s bodies were discovered in the Rondavel hut where they were sleeping.

According to a preliminary investigation, their mother had used a sledge hammer to attack them. They consequently sustained severe upper-body injuries.

The incident’s circumstances will be examined as part of the investigation. The mother was taken into custody right away and will face murder charges. Once charged, she is anticipated to appear before Engcobo Magistrate’s Court.
