Police searching for missing 12-year-old child who vanished with her Pakistani boyfriend ‘Abdul’
Police in Limpopo have initiated a search operation to find 12-year-old Tlou Koko from Lekhureng village, located in the Matlala policing precinct of the Capricorn District, who went missing on June 2, 2024.
Reports indicate that the child left home without informing anyone of her destination and has since vanished.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that Koko was last seen in the company of a Pakistani man known as “Abdul” in the village. On Monday, she called her mother, claiming she was in America.
The family reported her disappearance to the police, leading to the opening of a missing person file. The case has been transferred to the Seshego Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit for further investigation.
Police are appealing to anyone with information that could assist in locating the child to contact the nearest police station, call the Crime Stop number 08600 10111, or use the MySAPSApp.
The police search operation and investigation are ongoing.
