Star studded musicians lineup, over 20 caterers, free sanitary pads – EFF goes big on elections manifesto launch
In preparation for their election manifesto launch at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) are getting ready to make a big impact.
With the election date set to be announced in the next two weeks, this event holds immense importance for the party to rally support and present their plans for the future.
To ensure the success of the event, the party has organized a massive cooking center, enlisting the services of 20 local caterers to provide food for all attendees.
In addition, water bottles will be distributed, and free sanitary pads will be available for female attendees, emphasizing the party’s commitment to addressing basic needs and promoting gender equality.
The event will also feature performances by renowned artists such as Major League DJs, DJ Tira, and Babes Wodumo.
However, the highlight of the evening is anticipated to be the appearance of party leader Julius Malema on stage.
Malema’s absence from the recent State of the Nation Address was a deliberate act of protest.
During his speech, Malema is expected to utilize this platform to critique President Cyril Ramaphosa and his government.
The EFF has been vocal about important issues such as a borderless Africa, land restitution, nationalization of key institutions, and social relief for vulnerable individuals.
In addition to these key issues, Malema will address social grants and food security, equality, and education.
This manifesto launch is a critical moment for the EFF to connect with their supporters and gain momentum leading up to the elections.
