15-year-old girl who was gang raped by 4 men was walking from a tavern at 2am

A horrific incident has shaken the community of Mopje village in Bolobedu, Limpopo, as police are on the hunt for four unknown men in connection with the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl.

The media states that the incident took place on April 27, 2024, and has left the community outraged and in shock.

According to Limpopo provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, the victim had left her residence on the evening of April 26 to join her friends at a bar lounge in Motopa village.

Little did she know that this innocent outing would turn into a nightmare.

“As the victim left the bar lounge in the early hours of April 27, she was accosted by four unknown men in a red vehicle. The men, armed with firearms, forcefully took her and drove off to a remote location in the bushes within the Tzaneen area,” explained Ledwaba.

The young girl was subjected to a brutal assault as the suspects raped her before fleeing the scene, leaving her alone in the bushes.

The traumatized victim managed to make her way to the main road where a kind motorist assisted her and took her to the Tzaneen police station to report the heinous crime.

Ledwaba stated, “The police have opened a case of rape and are actively pursuing the suspects. The manhunt for the four unknown perpetrators is ongoing as we seek justice for the victim in this appalling crime.”
