Woman aged 26 allegedly killed her lover whose 10 years her senior

The community of eMalahleni, Mpumalanga is reeling in shock as a 26-year-old woman is set to face charges in court following the death of her 36-year-old lover.

The man lost his life after allegedly being stabbed during a scuffle with his female companion.

Mpumalanga provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Donald Mdhluli, shed light on the harrowing events that transpired on that fateful day.

Colonel Mdhluli stated, “According to a report, there was a scuffle between a male and a female. It is further indicated that during the said fight, the male person was stabbed, allegedly by his female companion.”

The gravity of the situation became apparent when the injured man was rushed to the hospital but tragically succumbed to his wounds later that evening.

Describing the grim scene, Mdhluli recounted, “Upon arrival, members of the police observed that the victim had some stab wounds on the upper body.”

The authorities swiftly launched an investigation into the matter, leading to the arrest of the woman believed to be responsible for the fatal stabbing.
