ABOUT SWEET VALLEY PRIMARY
When a new neighborhood is envisaged and planned, a college is generally regarded as an amenity which must be introduced quickly after preliminary increase has occurred. With Sweet Valley this system was once reversed. It is possibly one of the first college to be constructed before the housing and different improvement in a residential area
A site, which was once section of Sweet Valley Farm, used to be chosen and constructing commenced in 1956. On Monday 21 January 1957 the first 24 novices had been enrolled with Mr W J van Heerden as the first Principal assisted through two educators. The faculty started with seven lecture rooms and a handcraft room.
