With the Pretoria giants rumoured to have already expressed interest in him, Sundowns have emerged as the favourites to sign him.

According to phakaaati, Serero will receive a strong offer from Sundowns, but given how much money he makes in the UAE, he might decide to stay.

“Sundowns are offering something just above R1-million a month for him, he earns a bit more that side.

“But considering that he has made decent money in the three years he spent on that side, he might be open to the idea of coming back home.

“He is not a spring chicken anymore and might want to start thinking about retirement so Sundowns would be a good fit for him.”
