Omuhle Gela pulls the plug on Tropika Islands of Treasure

Actress Omuhle Gela’s much-anticipated appearance on the upcoming season of Tropika Islands of Treasure has been put on hold, as she recently announced her decision to withdraw from the competition show.

In a statement obtained by News O’clock, Gela expressed her regret over the situation and shared the reasons behind her difficult choice.

In her statement, Gela explained, “I write with great regret to inform you that I have made the difficult decision to ask Tropika Islands of Treasure production to recast me for the upcoming season.”

She went on to clarify that a scheduling conflict has emerged due to her involvement in a new television series, prompting her to prioritize her commitments in the acting industry.

Returning to the screen after a one-year hiatus, Gela expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to participate in Tropika Islands of Treasure while highlighting the importance of aligning her decisions with her long-term professional aspirations.

She extended her apologies to the show’s production team, her loyal supporters, and all those who were looking forward to seeing her compete.
