Gogo Skhotheni fears being accused of using her deceased son as a sacrifice
Monde Jr. Shange, the two-year-old son of reality TV star and celebrity gobela Patricia Motsoeneng, known as gogo Skhotheni, has passed away.Monde was born with a condition that prevented him from having a functional tube to deliver food to his stomach.
Despite extensive surgery and medical efforts to enable him to eat, doctors were unable to correct the issue. As a result, a feeding tube was inserted, and he relied on a machine for nourishment. He had been in the intensive care unit since birth.
“It is with profound sadness that the Motsoeneng and Shange families confirm the passing of Monde Jr Shange. Monde Jr departed this life at 15:00pm on Monday, September 2, 2024, at Busamed Modderfontein Private Hospital,” read a family statement.
The families further requested privacy as they navigate the deep and painful loss.
“We ask for your understanding and compassion in giving them the space they need during this difficult time of grieving. Psalm 23:4 reminds us, ‘Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me’.”
He has been in hospital since he was born and on Monday, the minor gave in. She stated that people will accuse her that she sacrificed her son, but it is well with her.
“I stopped posting him or talking about him because I was trying to shift social media away from him. They once said ngithwele ngaye so I guess now that he is no more, bazothi vele and it’s okay.
