Manhunt launched for foreign man who shot at five people, killing one

Police in KwaZulu-Natal have initiated a manhunt for a foreign suspect who opened fire on five people, resulting in one death and three injuries at a house on Adelaide Tambo Road in Durban North on Sunday afternoon.

According to reports, four foreign women of Asian origin were gathered in one room of their rented house when a male companion, also of Asian origin, arrived. The women reportedly requested that he give them a ride to a nearby shopping center.

As the women and their male friend were getting into the vehicle, another man, who was of the same nationality as the rest of them, appeared from inside the house and fired shots.

One of the women sustained fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three were rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The male companion managed to escape without injury.

Authorities are conducting investigations to determine the motive behind the shooting, as well as the relationships between the suspect and the victims.

This incident has left the local community in shock, and police are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to come forward.
