Exclusive: Kelly Khumalo breaks her silence after Gininda implicated her in Senzo Meyiwa’s murder

The recent revelation that Kelly Khumalo was allegedly the mastermind behind the murder of Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa has sparked an outpouring of support for the singer on social media platform X.

Despite the damning allegations made in court, Khumalo’s supporters have rallied around her, offering words of encouragement and love.

One supporter, Minne (@TheFruityO), took to X to share a Bible verse with Khumalo, quoting Psalms 9: “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’ Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.”

Minnie expressed her belief that Khumalo will overcome this storm, writing, “MaKhumalo will still win this battle, we love you.” Khumalo responded with a simple “I know,” accompanied by a heart emoji.

Despite the shocking allegations made in court, Khumalo continues to receive support from her fans.

The lead investigator, Brigadier Bongani Gininda, named Khumalo as the person who allegedly ordered the hit on Meyiwa.

According to Gininda, cellphone linkages between Khumalo and two of the accused, Mthobisi Mncube and Fisokuhle Ntuli, implicate her in the murder.

He stated, “There is no reasonable explanation as to why Kelly Khumalo would be in contact telephonically with a hitman or killers of her boyfriend and share the same picture of a bag full of money.”

Despite these allegations, Khumalo has remained largely silent on the matter, only responding to her supporters on social media.

However, her supporters remain steadfast in their belief in her innocence and continue to show their unwavering support.

While the court case continues, it is important to remember that everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
