Chiefs target Amazulu star
‘They,(Chiefs) will be able to make their interest public in January when he is in the last six months of his contract at Usuthu,’ said a source.
Thembela Sikhakhane, a defender for AmaZulu, is rumoured to be a target for Kaizer Chief. His contract ends in June of next year.
However, the right-back is also reportedly open to staying at Usuthu should the team make him a better offer.

If AmaZulu drags their feet on his contract talks, he will be free to speak to any team in January.
Despite Sikhakhane providing him with information about his new management, a source claims that Usuthu has not yet begun the negotiations.
“He left the company that managed him before and is now managed by his brother and he let the club know of this.
“Now it has been weeks since he gave them the numbers but no communication has been made,” says the source.
Sikhakhane is, however, not worried because he is not short of potential suitors should Usuthu decide against extending his contract.

The source said Kaizer Chiefs are one of the teams who have a keen interest and are following developments in his contract issue.
“Chiefs and Royal AM are the two teams we know are watching the situation with a keen eye right now.
“And they will be able to make their interest public in Januar, when he is in the last six months of his contract at Usuthu.”
The 29-year-old Sikhakhane previously played for Orlando Pirates and was loaned out to Usuthu while he was doing well.
At the end of his contract with Pirates, he signed with Usuthu permanently.
