Blxckie comments on A-Reece and Nasty C’s rivalry

In the world of hip-hop, including South African hip-hop, rivalries and disputes are common.

We’ve seen this with the fierce competition between Cassper Nyovest and AKA. Now, the newer artists, Nasty C and A-Reece, are also caught up in their own rivalry.

They’ve been throwing jabs at each other—some direct, some more subtle—showing that there is indeed some beef between them.

Blxckie had some comments on the A-Reece vs Nasty C conversaton

In an interview, Blxckie, who knows both Nasty C and A-Reece, said that their conflict isn’t based on anything substantial, even though they take shots at one another.

He mentioned that their rivalry is made worse by fans who enjoy the drama and fuel the conflict.

What Blxckie said

“The Nasty C and A-Reece ones are younger than the ones I mentioned before (Cassper and AKA). I feel like they still take jabs at each other, but I don’t think it’s based on anything solid,” he said.

“The way they talk about it makes it seem like it’s just something petty that has turned into this, plus the fans are putting them against each other, you know how hip-hop is,” Blxckie added.
