Armed robber accidentally kills himself

On Monday, June 26, 2023, police got information about an armed robber who had shot himself by mistake. This incident happened while the suspect was busy on a crime spree.

It all started when the suspect and an unidentified number of his co-accused terrorized residents of homes in a plot. They were committing robbery, house breaking, and theft.

Police determined that victims had been confronted by the gang of suspects, one of whom was equipped with a gun. The victims were held captive inside their homes while the suspects searched them and demanded money.

According to reports, the thieves robbed and tied a victim inside one of the homes and took off with a white VW Jetta. The owner of the car was able to free himself, but was tragically shot dead by the armed suspect.

During the crime spree all of the homes were searched, and the suspects managed to steal a safe that had a gun.

The suspect then later shot himself in the leg by accident, while attempting to take a wallet from the stolen VW Jetta. Rather than helping him, his accomplices fled the scene, leaving him bleeding heavily.

The injured man was transported to the hospital, where he eventually passed away from his wounds.

The victims all managed to free themselves and chased the other suspects during which the suspects eventually abandoned the stolen car and fled on foot. The suspects left the stolen safe in the vehicle.
