Anele Mdoda criticses Minister Gayton McKenzie
Anele Mdoda criticises Minister Gayton McKenzie for justifying his trip to the 2024 Olympics in France.
According to The Citizen, the minister disclosed in a parliamentary response that his department spent R804,597.71 on his Paris trip.
Mdoda called on McKenzie to stop engaging with Twitter users.
He addressed the situation on Twitter, stating, “I attended six meetings in Paris before the start of the Olympics.
I went to the athletic villa to greet our athletes, I attended the opening ceremony and watched the hockey, gymnastics, and sevens game.
I opened Ekhaya village and watched the rest of the Olympic Games on TV. What joyride?”
Known for her forthrightness, Mdoda urged the minister to refrain from further explanations.
“Dude. Stop answering. You don’t work for Twitter,” she tweeted.
However, her choice of words did not sit well with some social media users. One tweep responded, “Yeeer sies very disrespectful.
‘Dude’ tomorrow someone will call you gap. Nywe Nywe Nywe block here and there with noise.”
