Kaizer Chiefs parts ways with out of favour defender

Kaizer Chiefs out-of-favour defender, Austin Dube, is set to make a move to KwaZulu-Natal, where he will join Richards Bay after parting ways with the Soweto giants.

Reports indicate that Dube is expected to be officially introduced as a player for Richards Bay later this week, signaling his transition into a new chapter of his career outside of Chiefs.

Since his transfer from Richards Bay to Kaizer Chiefs in 2021, Dube has struggled significantly to secure regular playing time, prompting intense speculation about his future with the club.

Media sources suggest that Dube’s limited opportunities under former coach Arthur Zwane at Chiefs led him to explore alternative options.

Consequently, the South African revealed that the talented defender, known for his distinctive dreadlocks, also attracted interest from other teams in the DStv Premiership, including KwaZulu-Natal’s Bay, who reportedly reached out to Amakhosi regarding his skills.

Meanwhile, according to recent reports, Tebogo Tlolane is rumoured to be considering a move to Usuthu (AmaZulu FC) after experiencing difficulties at his current club, Orlando Pirates. These report’s suggests that Tlolane might be seeking a fresh start with a new team.
