Nkosazana Daughter has sued Macgyver ‘MacG’ Mukwevho for defamation.

This lawsuit is because of comments made in July on the “Podcast and Chill” show, where Mac G said that the father of Daughter’s child is not Sir Trill, as people thought, but Master KG.

MacG would say:

“Someone in Botswana told me and they are very close to Nkosazana Daughter.

“Apparently that’s not Sir Trill’s kid, it’s Master KG’s kid, bro. I kid you not.”

Mac G has been a very controversial figure in the Mzansi entertainment industry.

Nkosazana would respond:

“Like I said before, KG and I only work together but it’s like there’s people trying to convince you that there is more and there is no such thing.”

“All this for views? I’m so disappointed at how low people can go, not to mention how women are so disrespected in this industry!

“It’s so unfortunate that you will never see the amount of work that we have put out, because I’m female I must be sleeping with him. Disgusting.”

Nkosazana Daughter responds

Nkosazana Daughter decided to file her lawsuit in the Johannesburg High Court in response to these allegations.

She is seeking damages for the harm to her reputation and emotional well-being.

The lawsuit points out that there have been violations of evidence rules, especially with the use of hearsay, which is not reliable.

It also mentions that Daughter is facing ongoing damage to her personal reputation.

They are also asking the podcasters to take back their defamatory statements.

The statement reads:

“An oral, televised and written apology issued by the first and/or second and/or third defendant to the plaintiff.

“Payment by the first and/or second and/or third defendant, whether jointly; alternatively, whether jointly and severally (in which event the one paying, the other two to be absolved), of the aggregate amount of R13 000 000.”
