Ukhozi FM presenter Siya Mhlongo brutally beats his boyfriend following cheating allegations

Ukhozi FM presenter Siya Mhlongo has allegedly been involved in an altercation with his boyfriend. A video circulating on social media shows Siya telling his partner that he doesn’t want to accompany him. It’s reported that Siya allegedly assaulted his partner with a Savanna bottle.

According to TimesLive, sources close to the couple suggested they’ve been not seeing eye-to-eye for numerous reasons, one of which is infidelity.

“Siya wanted to break up with [his partner] as things were not smooth sailing like before. Lack of trust played a part in their relationship,” he said.

Another source said: “A case has been opened against Siya and he regrets the events that took place on Saturday. He [the partner] said he was beaten and injured by the broadcaster after the argument.”

A Durban police officer who is not authorised to speak to media revealed Siya has been charged with assault with intent to injure and the police are investigating.
