Pastor Mboro flees to police station after angry community attacks him for abduction his grandchildren and threatening community with a panga

The usually serene atmosphere of Matshediso Primary School was shattered when Prophet Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng, a controversial figure known for his dramatic religious practices, stormed the premises.

Armed with two pangas and accompanied by a heavily armed bodyguard, Mboro’s actions have left the community in shock and raised numerous questions about the pastor’s intentions and state of mind.

The incident began early in the morning when Mboro arrived at Matshediso Primary School, demanding to fetch his grandchildren.

Eyewitnesses report that he forced entry into the school, brandishing the pangas and creating an atmosphere of fear and confusion among the students and staff.

Tensions quickly escalated as a heated argument ensued between Mboro and the school staff. The presence of his armed bodyguard further intensified the situation, prompting several teachers to call for help.

The children are taken out to the street to a waiting car, accompanied by another man holding a rifle.

In the video, bystanders –  presumably staff members   – can be heard shouting at the men to let the children go, asking why they were taking the children. However, every attempt to get closer is met with the aggressive display of raised pangas.

The man by the car tells residents: “Who do you think you are?”, when questioned about the children.

In the wake of the incident, the Katlehong community expressed outrage and disbelief. Concerned parents rushed to the school to ensure the safety of their children, while others gathered outside to voice their anger.

Fearing for his safety amid rising tensions and threats from the community, Mboro fled to the Katlehong North police station.

Prophet Mboro is no stranger to controversy. Known for his unconventional methods and flamboyant personality, he has often found himself at the center of public scrutiny. His previous claims of supernatural experiences, including an alleged journey to heaven, have been met with skepticism and criticism from various quarters.

Despite his contentious reputation, Mboro has maintained a significant following. His church, Incredible Happenings Ministries, attracts large congregations, many of whom believe in his divine abilities.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident, focusing on the legality of Mboro’s actions and the presence of his armed bodyguard.
