Rustenburg man collapses and sadly dies at Chicken Licken

It is often said that life is too short and that you should enjoy each day like it is your last. This was the case when an unidentified man alleged collapsed and died inside a Chicken Licken fast food outlet in Rustenburg.

According to reports on January 5,2024 a man tragically died inside a Chicken Licken restaurant.

The unidentified man, who had come to buy food, was wearing his work suit which is suspected to be Impala mine overall.

The incident alleged occurred at a store situated in Rustenburg CBD near Nelson Mandela Drive, close to the  Magistrates Court.

The cause of the man’s death remains unclear, and efforts are being made to locate the deceased man’s family as investigations are underway.

Missing person murder

In a seperate incident, Tseseng police, along with help from the Anti-Stock Theft Unit, discovered the body of a missing person named Thabang Issac Phuti.

Thabang, 44 years old from Matsopaneng Section of Tseseng Village, was last seen by his family on December 26, 2023, around 18:00.

The decomposed body of Thabang Phuti was found in a cave near Matsupaneng Village by Stock Theft Community Patrollers of Tseseng Village. These patrollers work with the police in fighting against livestock issues in the area. The family was notified, and they identified the body. The police are now investigating the case as a murder.
