80-year-old woman who was badly beaten during robbery dies

An elderly woman has tragically passed away just a week after being the victim of a brutal robbery.

The 80-year-old woman, who has been described by her family as a “loving and kind-hearted person” was attacked in her home by unknown assailants. According to reports, the perpetrators ransacked her home and made off with various valuables, leaving the woman severely injured.

Daughter of the 80-year-old victim speaks up

Her daughter, who prefers to remain anonymous, shared her grief and anger, saying, “My mother did not deserve to die in such a violent and senseless manner. She was a gentle soul who never harmed anyone. We are heartbroken and struggling to come to terms with her sudden and tragic death.”

The community has also been left reeling by this senseless act of violence.

A neighbour, who has known the woman for many years, expressed shock and disbelief, saying, “She was a pillar of our community, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer a kind word. It is devastating to think that she met such a gruesome end in her own home.”
