32-year-old man shot and killed by his dog
A 32-year-old man’s life recently ended in tragedy after he was accidentally shot by his own dog. According to several international media, including the New York Post, Ozgur Gevrekoglu was on a trip to Turkey with several of his friends over the Thanksgiving weekend.

The 32-year-old man who is new father are believed to have been hunting game in the Alacam Mountains of Samsun province on the Black Sea coast when the incident took place. Gevrekoglu was apparently putting his dog in his car when the dog’s paw accidentally touched the trigger of the still-loaded gun, causing the gun to fire.

He is believed to have died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen before paramedics arrived on the scene. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Gevrekoglu was then taken to a public hospital in Samsun for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
