Zwane reveals the biggest challenge for chiefs

After losing on Saturday night, Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane revealed the biggest difficulty his team has faced this year.

After a 0-0 draw with AmaZulu at the FNB Stadium on Saturday night, the Chiefs’ perfect home record came to an end.
The primary issue, according to Zwane, was losing a few players to injury and suspensions just as they were settling into a routine.

The challenges would be when you think you’re getting it right and one or two players would be out and you’d have to reshuffle the team, Zwane said to SuperSport after the game. “We’re definitely getting there,” he added.

“Yes, it has been our current difficulty, but I don’t believe it is anything we cannot strive to resolve. Yes, it will take some time for things to improve, but the boys are showing promising signs now.

The only flaw in this game, according to the referee, is that they were hunting for a dead-ball situation, which we could have easily conceded from.

Ja, it wasn’t meant to be, but I believe we can improve. I never got to the fifth gear since I was usually messing with the third and fourth gears.

It would have been great if we had made them commit even more errors, but we can take this as a lesson and look at the positives; perhaps, we’ll play better the next time.
