Zimbabwean man found dead on the roadside after he was last seen harrassing people at a tavern

Letlhakane police are currently investigating a tragic case in which a 26-year-old Zimbabwean man was discovered deceased by the roadside at Nthane lands on the outskirts of Letlhakane village on a fateful Friday night.

The circumstances surrounding the young man’s death have raised concerns and prompted a thorough investigation by law enforcement authorities.

Assistant Superintendent Tsholofelo Masole, the assistant police station commander in Letlhakane, provided details on the incident, indicating that the deceased was reportedly seen causing disturbances and harassing individuals at a local tavern before chasing after another Zimbabwean man.

The deceased, described as a rowdy and notorious individual by members of the community, had a history of engaging in altercations and instigating conflicts in the area.

Masole stated, “The deceased was terrorizing people in the area, as he was always fighting people. They described him as a rowdy notorious young man who was terrorizing everyone.” Following the disturbing events at the tavern, the deceased was later found lifeless, with significant head and bodily injuries, prompting suspicions of foul play.

The deceased was promptly taken to Letlhakane clinic, where medical professionals declared him deceased upon arrival.

Authorities suspect that the fatal injuries sustained by the deceased indicate a violent altercation with the Zimbabwean man he was seen chasing after from the tavern.

An ongoing investigation aims to locate and question the individual in question to shed light on the circumstances leading to the tragic demise of the young man.
