Because their home was occupied when they returned from the hospital. Zandie claimed she doesn’t understand what they mean when they claim the crime scene was changed.

“I’m not sure what they mean when they say that the crime scene was tampered with. Our house was too small, to start with. When you have five guests over, the house is filled. The home was already crowded when we got back after taking Senzo to the hospital. We knew some people and didn’t know others, “She spoke.

Teffo said that Senzo was already dead when he was carried to the hospital. However, Zandie insisted she made an effort to revive him.

Zandile Khumalo on keeping Senzo alive

“I was the one applying pressure to the wound leading to the hospital while sitting in the back of the car with Senzo. He was beginning to get cold from his feet even while we were going to the hospital. I was trying to keep him alive by talking to him the entire time,” she claimed.

Zandie responded that she wished she had stabbed one of the attackers because perhaps they could have revealed who hired them when asked what she might have changed.

“When something of that scale occurs, everything is forgotten. I might have even taken a knife and stabbed someone had I remembered the knife drawer. It might have been better if someone had stayed behind and said anything. Things that I would have wanted to accomplish so badly simply cross your mind, Zandie said.

There is nothing you can do to prevent a circumstance from occurring if it will happen on that day, she added.
