Wedding bells ring for minister Thembi Nkadimeng. See who the lucky rich man is

Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Thembi Nkadimeng, is preparing to embark on a new chapter in her life as she recently accepted a marriage proposal from her partner, Matome Ralebipi.

The couple’s engagement took place at the lavish Estate d’Afrique in Proclamation Hill, Haartbeespoort, North West province.

The surprise proposal occurred during Nkadimeng’s 51st birthday celebration on February 10, leaving her and close friends in awe.

A source revealed, “This is a case of second time lucky for both of them because Matome is a divorcee and so is Thembi. The two met through work a while ago and have been dating for some time.”

Nkadimeng was previously married to politician Chipjane Clifton Tito Nkadimeng until 2019, while Ralebipi dissolved his marriage to Kgolesego Tlou in 2017 through a divorce.

The couple’s connection blossomed through their professional endeavours, with Ralebipi holding various board positions and serving as the chairperson at the Limpopo Roads Agency, where he collaborates closely with Nkadimeng’s daughter, Thato, who serves as a spokesperson at the agency.

The wedding date and venue for the anticipated nuptials are yet to be finalized.

The engagement ceremony was an intimate affair attended by family and close friends, including outgoing Limpopo premier, Chupu Stanley Mathabatha, a longtime friend of Ralebipi for over a decade.

In pictures from the engagement party, Nkadimeng radiated joy in a white dress, while Ralebipi stood by her side in a white shirt and blue pants.

Ralebipi’s influence extends across social, business, and political circles in Limpopo, where he holds significant roles such as chairperson of the Limpopo Roads Agency and deputy chairperson of the Musina-Makhado Special Economic Zone, as well as the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority’s council.
