It is past time for the South African government to seriously consider gun regulation. As most victims of murder and killed by gunshots. This demonstrates that firearms are accessible to those with violent tendencies and murderous intentions.

A harsher sentence should be imposed on those found in possession of illegal firearms and there should be a string of mental valuations before people are given gun licenses.
