TNS accuses his family of using black magic to “block his success”

Musician Nkazimulo Ngema, better known as TNS, has sparked controversy after publicly accusing his family members of practicing witchcraft and causing him depression.

The “Umona” hitmaker took to social media to express his grievances, alleging that his family has wished him harm since his youth.

“I’ve been quiet about this for a long time,” TNS wrote. “Ever since I was young, they wanted me dead. When I was very young, my late grandmother used to hide me from them. Sometimes I feel like a dead man walking because of the depression my family has caused me.”

He further declared that he would never return to his homestead in eMadadeni, KwaZulu Natal, due to the alleged witchcraft practiced by his family.

The accusations have elicited mixed reactions online.

While some fans expressed concern and support for the artist, others criticized his claims, suggesting that he may be deflecting responsibility for the current state of his career.

Online publication MDN News shared the singer’s revelations on X (formerly Twitter), further amplifying the controversy and prompting discussions about the role of family dynamics and mental health within the music industry.
