OLISA NDAH
Still only 24, the Nigerian centre-back has been one of Jose Riveiro’s outstanding performers this season, most notably in the MTN8 final. In a campaign where Pirates have struggled in the final third, at least they’ve also been miserly in defence, conceding just 7 goals in 13 outings. Ndah has been a big part of that. He’s been a buccaneering presence at the back, can you say the same for the Chiefs central defensive duo?
MIGUEL TIMM
Kaizer Chiefs have a lot of good central midfielders on their books but none of them are as good as Miguel Timm, as far as controlling the tempo of a football match goes. Not even Njabulo Blom. Blom will become a fantastic player and perhaps surpass Timm’s level, but he’s not there yet. The ex-Gallants man is 30 years old and in the prime of his career. Will these two dovetail one day for club or country? That could be a beautiful combination.

MONNAPULE SALENG
We keep hearing reports of Chiefs going after wide attackers who can score goals, and it makes us think, wouldn’t they just love a player like Saleng? Quick, direct and getting better and better with his finishing. Right now, he’s their only real source of goals. They’ve scored just 9 of those in 13 DStv Prem matches so far. Improvements needed in that department.
